2014 Reflections

So much happened this year. At the end of every year, I like to look back to see how far I've come and really soak up LIFE. Sometimes we get so caught up with moving forward and taking the next step that we lose sight of where we are now, in this moment. Things can move too fast and I like to use this time to slow down and reflect on the past, present, and future.

This year:

+ Our wedding got featured on WeddingChicks
+ We purchased our first home and moved in February 1
+ re:find Joy participated in Winter Indie Wed 2014
+ I turned 30!
+ re:find Joy got a website upgrade and a branding face-lift
+ We made a number of upgrades to our home: new fence installed, new windows installed, new fridge, created a patio, and created new landscaping complete with two Smokebush plants!
+ re:find Joy was a part of so many meaningful celebrations!
+ Chris got a job as an Assistant Principal
+ re:find Joy participated in the first NotWedding Chicago (now The Big Fake Wedding)
+ We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary.
+ re:find Joy turned 3 years old!
+Two of our siblings got engaged
+ We welcomed a new niece into the family.
+ And then my year was made when an instagram of re:find Joy's props was included in one of Design Sponge's top 25 Inspiring Collections

It has been a huge year, both personally and for re:find Joy. I so look forward to 2015...I can feel big things coming, and I'm so excited for where this year is going to take me!
